Why Your Custom Sneakers Aren't Sports Shoes (and How to Make Them Last)

What are custom sneakers?
Why did my custom sneakers...?
How could they... have faded?

Today, let's briefly explain custom sneakers!

  1. Artists apply various techniques like hand-painting, spray-painting, dyeing, water transfer printing, heat transfer printing, embroidery, sewing, laser engraving, and 3D printing to sneakers, creating unique custom designs.
  2. All custom sneakers are handcrafted, so slight variations in color and pattern are possible.
  3. A second coat of paint is applied for color changes. If scratched or scraped, this new layer may chip or peel off.

Therefore, these sneakers are NOT suitable for intense sports activities! (No! Absolutely not!) They are unlike performance shoes, darlings! Please try not to wear them for basketball, running, or similar strenuous activities!

Also, because it's an additional layer of paint, you need to give them enough time to fully cure/dry.

Our assistant has also prepared some tips for maintaining your custom sneakers – learn them quickly!

  1. After receiving your custom sneakers, it's recommended to let them sit for at least 10 days before wearing them. This helps the paint adhere better and increases durability.
  2. Due to the original shoe material, construction, and custom materials used, please avoid: intense physical activities, rough treatment, and contact with sharp objects (to prevent scratches and chipping).
  3. When cleaning: Use a soft brush and sneaker cleaner on the surface. Air dry in a shaded place. (Not recommended: Professional sneaker cleaning services, as the strong chemicals they often use may cause the paint to fade!)
